Trendy 2BR Melbourne Central Skyline Near Station

A quite nice apartment, but comes with an uncommunicative host. Positive: The building itself was great with the pool and spa, and rooms on the first floor for boardgames. The room was a little smaller than it seemed in the pictures, but was still nice. Comfortable beds, a laundry machine + drier. Negative: Was given the wrong pin code to get the keys. Host did not answer the emergency phone number given at all. I also messaged through booking.com multiple times, with no response. Not until half an hour later, host messaged me through booking.com with the first/incorrect code again, then shortly after with a second code that did work. The first night the cistern in the toilet didn't stay full, so was draining water the whole night and morning. I called them multiple times again, and again they did not answer. It was about midday when I randomly got a call from a plumber saying they were coming and could I please be at the apartment. Luckily I was nearby so I was able to return and let him in. Had I not been in the area...? Very poor communication.

Positive: Location was excellent, with convenient access to trams, walking distance to QV Market and central Melbourne just a couple of tram stops away! Instructions for entry was clear and Ayu was a great communicator. We were short of towels and linen, Ayu sent someone to promptly deliver the shortfall. Trima kasih again, Ayu! Negative: Size - it would be great for a group of 4 but for 6 of us, the apartment felt crowded. Not sure how the apartment size was calculated to be 120m2 …. ?
